The Poe Experience

 

La date n'est pas encore déterminée, mais courant octobre-novembre prochains aura lieu une représentation, par l'organisation Bedlam Ensemble, intitulée "The Poe Experience" et qui devrait se dérouler à New York.
La pièce sera constituée de plusieurs adaptations de contes et poèmes de Poe comme "The Cask of Amontillado" ("La Barrique d'Amontillado") et "The Raven" ("Le Corbeau").

La somme recueillie grâce à la vente des tickets sera reversée au Poe House and Museum, qui, comme vous le savez, risque la fermeture par manque de fonds.

La troupe recherche des designers et autres graphistes, bénévoles, car ils ont besoin d'un logo, d'affiches, etc. Les propositions sont à envoyer avant le 5 septembre prochain :

"THE POE EXPERIENCE- An evening into Poe’s mind


Bedlam Ensemble will be staging a unique night of adaptations from Edgar Allen Poes [sic] breath taking pieces (Including The Raven and The Cask of Amontillado). During the evening we will present unique dramatizations of his chilling gems focusing on the most grotesque details of human behaviour.

We hope to offer every detail of this production as an opportunity to showcase and celebrate Bedlam Ensemble's thriving community of artists. Everything from the costumes to the set is being selected to mirror our modern societies influence on Poes macabre.

Using a custom designed open space to venture into Poes world, Bedlam Ensemble will take the spectator into the mind of Poe ensuring each guest has a unique, personal and breath taking experience, the space will have chambers and lounge areas for our planned extended intermission and post show soiree.


We are looking for designers and visual artists who would like an opportunity to have their work printed and distributed to a wide audience. We will need logo, poster and program designs. As you may guess, this is not a paid position. No one in the company is getting paid. This is simply an opportunity for like-minded creatives to come together and produce something memorable.
